Our History

Here at Ojjo, our leadership team has deep utility-scale experience with top developers and tracker companies. With innovation at our core, we have previously invented, manufactured, and delivered hundreds of unique solar products.

After capturing nearly half of the U.S. residential rooftop solar market by the founding and scaling of Zep Solar (acquired by Tesla), Jack West and team founded Ojjo to bring-to-market a revolutionary new way to approach large-scale solar foundations.

Ojjo is comprised today of stellar industry veterans from Avantus, Vestas, SunPower, Recurrent Energy, and Canadian Solar as well as original members of the Zep/SolarCity/Tesla lineage, bringing decades of experience in renewable development and machine automation. Together, we are laying the foundation for the clean energy future.
